As we look outside our home window and see what God has given us that could be so dear to us in many ways. How dose it make you feel when you get the first breath of morning air on a hiking trip through the Mountains or even through the wood’s. We under estimate what God and Mother Nature has to offer us in the great outdoors.
Think of an idea that a tree could just talk back and carry on a conversation with you as you sit high in a stand next to the tree. What if that tree said to you don’t sit here I am not made to sit on.
See that’s the glory of all nature that it doesn’t talk back or even say a word. Trees don’t talk back, Trees don’t whine, Trees don’t ask me to do anything except sit down and listen to everything else.
The good thing is I have a great God that has given me so much to enjoy in this world that I live in. Without the Outdoors there would be no fishing, hiking, camping, or even hunting. That’s rite I said hunting. See We take a lot of pleasure from the outdoors.
It only seems rite to give a little something back. Maybe plant a tree or flowers or even a garden that we may nourish what can actually be grown in the fine soil of God’s green earth. Just because the outdoors has given us more than we could ever possibly repay, doesn’t mean we shouldn’t try.
If you don’t ever remember but one thing about our great outdoors you should remember this. The Outdoors is always Changing, Growing, Renewing if properly cared for, it will meet people’s needs for generations to come. Teach us that embracing change is the best way to grow. It’s a way of life, spending every waking moment in the woods or on the water. God created mother nature for a reason. So use it the best you can.
Toxey Haas from Mossy Oak stated one thing in an advertisement that really got my attention one day. As I sat in a doctors office reading the back cover of a hunting magazine and still to this day I look back at these words of wisdom that he passed on to the men, women and children of the outdoors. “It’s a law of nature: the more dirt gets under your fingernails, the higher your spirit gets lifted.” Children learn something of supreme importance, a certain wisdom that years and soap do their best to erase. But getting your hands dirty is good for the heart, mind, and soul of a true outdoors man, child, or even woman.
