We have our clients put their birds in a Food Saver bag and vacuum pack them. With them vacuum sealed, this keeps the freezer from damaging them if they are left in there for an extended period of time. It works really well and we have had birds in the freezer for up to 2 yrs done this way. Hope that helps and great article too btw!
